Been using reusable air filters on my cars since 2001 so I bought this to replace the stock air filter on my Mazda 3. The filter fit perfectly on my car and only took a minute to replace. The performance gains in my case were negligible but that's not the reason I and other people should buy this, using a reusable filter saves you a lot of money and you can clean it as often as you like (I generally do it every oil change). If you like to take care of your car and like working on your car, then look no further and buy a reusable filter like this one.

Fit my 14 Mazda 3 s gt no problem. Saw an immediate increase in mpg so can't beat that! Was averaging high 20s with this I am now low 30s. Nice it can be cleaned and reused worth the upgrade!

When I checked if this fits 2014 Mazda 6 models, the website suggested it won't fit. I went ahead and ordered anyways and it fits perfectly with 2014 models. If you are looking to buy this for Mazda 6 - 2014 models, go ahead and buy.

Excellent fitment. I've owned this filter for a good 2 years now and cleaned it a total of 5 times. Improved throttle response although no gains in actual Power or MPGs over stock. Mainly purchased to save on replacement costs and so far it has paid for itself many times over. Highly recommended and made in the USA I believe.

Fits perfectly in my 2017 Mazda 6. I cut the bottom of my airbox not for the sound, but there was standing water in there after driving in the rain. I was not looking for power or gas mileage. I just refuse to pay $30-60 for a paper filter every 6000 miles. Just wash this filter and your good for another 10000 miles plus before washing it again. Make the most financial sense.

Fits my 2016.5 Mazda, CX-5, 2.5 liter perfectly, and because it is a dry filter I won't worry about the mass airflow meter oiling up and malfunctioning. Slight fuel mileage improvement, and throttle response appears to have been improved.

Ordered this for my 2014 Mazda 3 s GT. At 80k miles, I was way past due for a new air filter. Dealer was charging an arm and a leg so I came across this reusable one. Installation was pretty simple, pop off 2 clips, take the old one out and put this new one in place. I have to say that the rubber around the new air filter does have some oil on it so wear gloves. It was a perfect fit as well! It is hard to tell if there were any performance gains but it's a peace of mind knowing the air filter is clean.

Fit my 2018 Mazda 3 HB perfectly and was super easy to install. I was initially concerned that this filter had fewer pleats than the OEM (20 vs 25), but that' doesn't appear to reduce performance. Performance improvements are perceptible but not major. Getting off the line seems easier. Engine actually makes less noise now. As for filtering efficiency, FWIW, OEM filter has a 99.7% filtering efficiency. This AEM is 99.3% efficient. After two years, this will have paid for itself. Dry, not oiled, simplifies maintenance and ownership. I'll keep the OEM filter around for when I wash this AEM filter and need to let it dry.

I've always been a fan of AEM and had their filters/intakes in my previous 2 vehicles. Can't beat a Dryflow re-washable filter. I purchased this for my 2016 Mazda CX-5 and I'm loving it so far. I'm not sure on the power increase, but the throttle response is a little better and it sounds great through high RPMs. UPDATE: For those who have a 2018 Mazda6 2.5L Turbo, this will not fit. The dimensions of the air box/filter have changed. Still a great filter, just hoping AEM creates a new one for the 2.5L Turbo.

For the price of an OEM filter, this filter is hard to pass up. I have used K&N air filters on several of my cars and they have always worked well, no increase in performance or gas mileage, but only buying it once saves a lot of money over the ownership period. Dealerships will charge $60 or more to change out the air filter, this takes under five minutes to change out. This AEM filter is stout and well constructed. It fits perfectly into the air filter housing. Even though I never fouled my MAF sensor on my other cars with the oiled K&N air filters, it is nice knowing that this filter is a dry unit. I will clean it during every oil change to ensure adequate air flow to the engine. Great job AEM!
